Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Is Apex compact enough for a small travel bag?
No: Opove groups it separately from the M3 Mini and lists a 2.27 lb full-size body. The case is included, but packed weight and airline acceptance are unknown.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the current exact kit include a heated massage head?
The six named Apex heads are Flat, Ball, Spade, Bullet, Fork and Cushion; the reviewed package list names no heated head.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I rely on one non-conflicted runtime number?
No. The current product page states 4-8 hours while the linked manual says average 3.5+ hours depending on speed and pressure.

Opove's Apex is the angled-handle member of its current three-gun US collection. The manufacturer describes a 45-degree slant, 14.5 mm amplitude, three speeds and a six-head kit. Those details make it a different proposition from the conventional M3 Pro and the compact M3 Mini, not a tested claim that it reaches every muscle more comfortably or produces a better result. This review is a comparison of published materials; I have not handled or tested the gun.
The angled body is the main practical distinction
Opove says the Apex's handle is angled to help with self-treatment and reports a body weight of 2.27 lb (about 1,030 g). The shape changes how the hand approaches the motor head compared with a straight pistol-grip outline. That is a design choice worth considering if your usual routines involve reaching around the shoulder or back, but a product-page illustration cannot establish wrist comfort, balance under pressure or one-handed reach. The published angle is not a guarantee of fit for a particular hand or body.
For context, the current M3 Pro has a conventional handle, a 12 mm stroke and a manufacturer-listed 2.43 lb body weight; the M3 Mini is a separate 0.58 lb compact tool with a shorter 7 mm stroke. Apex sits between those choices by listed mass and keeps a full-size body. Its 14.5 mm amplitude is the largest figure in this small Opove lineup, but amplitude alone does not say how controlled, comfortable or useful a session will feel.
Three speed levels, six named heads
The current Apex page and its linked model manual both identify three physical levels. The product page gives a 1,600–2,500 RPM range and lists six heads: Flat, Ball, Spade, Bullet, Fork and Cushion. The manual describes a lower-level button sequence and a ten-minute automatic shutoff; that timer is a safety/control feature, not a promise of a ten-minute treatment for each area. Read the full manual and keep the tool moving over soft tissue rather than pressing on bones or treating a single spot aggressively.
The six-head count is useful only if the particular contact shapes suit the routine. The site names the heads but doesn't provide a current exact-model operating chart for every attachment. I would not assume that a shape or head name proves a clinical purpose, compatibility with another gun, or a suitable attachment for a sensitive area. Opove says a protective case and charging adapter are included; the manual's packing list also names six applicators, adapter, manual and case. Check the actual seller's package against those items.
Claims need their conditions kept attached
Opove publishes a maximum 50 lb stall-force claim, 14.5 mm amplitude, 4–8 hours of battery life and a noise claim around 49 dB. These are manufacturer statements, not measurements made for this guide. The current product page describes the noise as both below 49 dB and 49 dB in separate sections, without a microphone distance, speed setting or test protocol. The linked 2021 manual gives an average runtime of 3.5+ hours depending on speed and pressure, while the current page says 4–8 hours. I keep that runtime mismatch visible, so Apex does not qualify for a finder choice that requires a non-conflicted runtime figure.
The body-weight conversion is arithmetic from Opove's listed 2.27 lb, not a weighed sample, and it excludes the case, charger and whichever attachment is installed. The current listing and manual both show a charger, but carrying the case is not evidence that the full kit is travel-ready or airline-approved. The source materials don't establish packed weight, battery watt-hours or a measured sound level.
Color records and buying checks
The current product record groups Black, Green and Silver as color choices of Apex, with SKUs OPAPEXBK-3, OPAPEXGN-3 and OPAPEXSV-1. In the captured record Black and Green are available while Silver is not. Although each variant's separate image_id field is null, the record's featured_image.variant_ids association identifies the Green image with the Green variant ID and the Silver image with the Silver variant ID. The selected-color pages confirm those labels. These remain finish options in one Apex record, and the page presents one shared kit list; the renderings below show the device with one head attached, not the supplied kit or a shipment audit. The main review image remains a Black model rendering.

Before choosing a listing, verify the exact Apex name and SKU, the selected finish, the included six-head set, case and adapter, warranty and return terms, and the manual revision. No model-specific recall clearance is claimed here: recheck current Opove and CPSC notices and the physical model label. If you need dependable runtime screening, prefer a product with consistent source documentation rather than reading the current Apex page's range as a tested guarantee. If the angled design, three-step control and six named heads address your actual routine, compare it with the M3 Pro's conventional grip and five-level control before deciding.
