Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does Go 3 include a case and charger?
The exact package list names a premium carry case and USB-C charging cable; it does not name a wall adapter. Confirm the source offer includes the items listed before buying.
Explore this need in the finder →How many speeds and heads does Go 3 have?
The current Go 3 kit lists five speeds and two attachments, Flat and Wedge. The Go 2 is a distinct three-speed kit with Flat and Bullet heads.

The official product, specification and operating pages checked do not establish Bluetooth/app control for Go 3. This guide treats the capability as unknown, not as a confirmed no.
Explore this need in the finder →A lighter Go model with five speeds and a real case
The exact black Hypervolt Go 3 is a compact-format percussion gun (SKU 55300 001-00) with a more complete travel kit than the Go 2 package I checked. The official US page lists a 1.6 lb body, five speed positions, Flat and Wedge attachments, a USB-C charging cable and a premium carry case. The support specification gives a 10 mm stroke and a 45 lb stall-force figure. Hyperice also states that the battery is travel-friendly for carry-on only. The last point is not a universal airline approval: a shopper should check the actual battery watt-hour marking and their airline's current rules.
Compared with Hypervolt 3, the Go 3 is 0.4 lb lighter and uses USB-C to charge the main gun, but drops the included Fork, Cushion and heated head from its package. The three-generation standard kit has an 18 V wall charger for the gun and a separate USB-C cable to charge its heated head. If the exact included heat head or the larger selection of five heads matters, Go 3 is the wrong shorthand comparison. It does not appear to be the “lite” version of the same box.
What the five speed levels mean
Hyperice lists 1,500, 1,750, 2,000, 2,250 and 2,500 percussions per minute. The company's 10 mm stroke and 45 lb stall-force claims are specifications, not independent force measurements or a guarantee about how pressure will feel. Hyperice's support page lists pressure-sensor indicators and 55 dB. I did not find verified Bluetooth/app control for this exact model in the product, specification or operating material, so I leave that feature unknown rather than borrowing it from a larger Hypervolt 3 sibling.
The company says up to or approximately four hours of battery life; its operating instructions say average runtime is 2+ hours and varies with selected speed and pressure. That is a reasonable caution against planning a trip around a maximum claim. The instructions say the device charges by USB-C, that the battery should not be fully depleted, and that the USB-C cable should be connected to a suitable USB-A adapter. The adapter is not included in the Go 3's written package list, so check whether the seller adds one.
Head choice and practical limits
Flat and Wedge are the two listed Go 3 attachments. Hyperice describes the Flat head for broad groups and the Wedge for more targeted contact; those are maker descriptions, not clinical recommendations. The Wedge adds a different shape from the Go 2's Bullet, not a larger head count. For a buyer who wants multiple named contact shapes, the Hypervolt 2 package lists five heads, while the newer full-size kits include five with a dedicated heated attachment. The right trade is therefore less about the “Go” name and more about what fits your storage, head and charging needs.
The manufacturer's safety guidance applies to this specific device: use on clean, dry soft tissue with light movement, about 60 seconds per region; do not use on hard or bony areas, bruised or irritated skin, or other listed sensitive areas. Stop if pain occurs and get medical advice first for the conditions listed by the maker. The instructions also limit continuous operation to an hour followed by a half-hour rest. This is product-safety guidance, not a claim that percussion treats an injury or condition.
Who should compare Go 3?
It makes sense to compare Go 3 if a 1.6 lb body, a built-in USB-C charging port, a listed carry case, five settings and two practical head shapes are the center of the decision. Those facts make it distinct from the old Go 2 and from the current standard Hypervolt 3. It is less suitable if the needs are an included heated attachment, a numeric weight below 1.5 lb, a verified Bluetooth routine, a specific wall adapter in the box or documented external sound testing. Manufacturer dB figures have no stated method, so “55 dB” is not a promise about your room.
Before buying, verify the Go 3 name and SKU, Flat and Wedge heads, case, USB-C cable, any wall adapter and latest safety manual. A limited search across official sources did not establish a model-specific recall, but this is not exhaustive clearance. This assessment comes from product and support documents only; I did not use, own, measure or test the Go 3 and make no claim about actual noise, force, runtime or recovery outcomes.
