Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does Hypervolt 3 have a heated head in the reviewed kit?
Yes. Hyperice lists Heated Head Attachment 3 among five included heads, plus the head's own USB-C charge cable. It is separate from the gun's 18 V charger and is not built-in heating.

Both lists show the same five head types and a carry case. The standard 3 has five speeds, 2.0 lb, 12 mm stroke and a maker-listed 48 dB; the Pro has six speeds, 2.5 lb, 14 mm and 51 dB. These are published specs, not comparative testing.

Hyperice publishes 48 dB but gives no distance, mode, room or test method in the material checked. The number supports a published-rating filter only; it cannot predict noise in your room.
Explore this need in the finder →The regular full-size kit includes the new heated head
Hypervolt 3 is the standard full-size member of Hyperice's version-3 family, not simply a Go 3 with a longer name. Its current US product page identifies SKU 53300 001-00 and lists a 2.0 lb body, five speed settings and five included heads: Heated Head Attachment 3, Flat, Wedge, Fork and Cushion. The package list also names a premium carry case, an 18 V wall charger for the gun and a separate USB-C cable for the heating attachment. That final distinction is easy to miss: the heated head is a separately charged add-on in the box, while the massage gun itself uses the supplied wall charger.
Hyperice's support specifications add five rates from 1,500 to 2,500 percussions per minute, a 12 mm stroke and a 60 lb stall-force figure. The body has a pressure sensor, Bluetooth connection and app support. These are useful catalog facts for comparing included control features, but neither stroke length nor stall force tells a shopper how the gun will feel in hand or whether any particular use is appropriate. I have not verified the performance experimentally.
Comparing it with Hypervolt 3 Pro and Go 3
The Hypervolt 3 Pro uses the same five listed head shapes and the same two charging paths, but it adds a sixth speed and is listed at 2.5 lb, 14 mm stroke and 70 lb stall force. The standard Hypervolt 3 is 0.5 lb lighter with one fewer speed step; Hyperice lists it at 48 dB compared with 51 dB for the Pro. These are not independent acoustic or force tests, and the difference in maker numbers does not establish audible superiority in a bedroom or a better massage for an individual.
Go 3 changes the operating and packing priorities: it is listed at 1.6 lb and uses USB-C charging for the main device, but includes only Flat and Wedge heads. It also has a case and five speed steps, while app control is not established in the Go 3 documentation I reviewed. Hypervolt 3 is more compelling to compare if you specifically want the other three head shapes, a heated head in the kit, the full-size handle or documented Bluetooth routines. If portability and charging with a single cable matter more, the Go format deserves a closer look.
Runtime, sound and controls require context
The product and technical pages state approximately or up to four hours of battery life. The operating page gives a more use-conditioned “2+ hours average” and says speed and applied pressure affect runtime; these claims are not interchangeable promises. Hyperice also lists a 48 dB noise figure, but does not state a speed, test distance, room or measurement protocol. The number is a manufacturer-published rating, not a laboratory comparison. It can help distinguish models whose makers publish no dB figure, but it cannot predict the noise heard through a wall.
Operation is straightforward on paper: hold power briefly, turn the digital dial through five positions, and switch the device off before changing a head. The maker advises waiting for the head to stop before removing it. Bluetooth routines can connect through the Hyperice App, so a visitor can use the dial without relying on the app but has an optional guided route. The 18 V wall charger and heat-head USB-C cable serve different components; do not assume the USB-C cable charges the massage gun.
Safety notes and what to check in an offer
Hyperice's safety and operating instructions recommend light, moving contact on clean, dry soft tissue for about 60 seconds per region. They caution against bony areas, the head and certain vulnerable regions, and advise avoiding bruised, injured or irritated skin. Stop if discomfort develops; the instructions list health circumstances where medical advice should come first. The manual also says not to run continuously for more than an hour and to rest the device for 30 minutes after that period. Follow the current manual rather than treating a shopping page as a use protocol.
Hypervolt 3 is a well-documented full kit if you value a case, five heads including heat, app connectivity and a middle position between Pro and Go. Its limitations are the 2 lb body, separate heat-head charging, and maker-only sound/runtime figures. Confirm SKU 53300 001-00, the exact five-head package, both charging components, case and current instructions. The manufacturer calls it TSA-friendly for carry-on, but check battery watt-hours and airline rules for your trip. A targeted exact-name recall search found no model-specific notice; it is not exhaustive clearance. This is a documentary review, not hands-on testing, ownership or a claim of treatment benefit.
