Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Is the B37S a current buying candidate here?
No, not on the evidence checked. The manufacturer comparison row has no product ID or retail link and marks its price unavailable; the current Ekrin store search and category pages did not establish a standalone B37S offer. The manual-cover rendering identifies the model but does not prove current stock or a retail package, so this page remains reference-only.
Explore this need in the finder →What charger and head interface should an existing B37S owner verify?
Ekrin's B37S-specific charger guide specifies its round-barrel 26 V DC, 900 mA, center-positive adapter, while the manual and comparison row describe locking heads. Do not substitute the B37 v2 USB-C charger or B37 v1 push-fit heads; check the device label, port and exact manual.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the B37S satisfy a hard runtime-evidence requirement?
Not on the evidence in this assessment. The manual gives about four hours depending on speed and pressure, while the comparison row says up to eight hours without comparable conditions. The runtime tag is therefore unknown and does not meet an essential runtime filter.
Explore this need in the finder →This is a source-based identification reference, not a hands-on test or a current purchase recommendation. Ekrin's dedicated support library links a B37S manual, and the manual itself names the B37S model. A saved 2026-10-31 Ekrin comparison snapshot also had a B37S row, but that row had no product ID, retail link or image and marked its price unavailable. The 2026-11-01 comparison page displays Kestrel, B37 and Bantam, while the checked US product grids and current store search did not establish a standalone B37S offer. I therefore keep it outside the buying finder rather than borrowing a B37 or B37 v1 listing or SKU. The exact-model rendering shown with this reference comes from the cover of Ekrin's official B37S manual; it identifies the documented model, not a current sale package. See the official B37S manual page and Ekrin comparison page for the underlying record.
Five control levels, with an extra rhythm mode
The B37S manual describes five adjustable levels. Level five adds an automatic high/low frequency-conversion pattern that cycles every ten seconds; the comparison page likewise says five speeds, up to 3,200 rpm, plus variable frequency. Neither source gives a full per-level rate table, so the published maximum is not enough to compare the feel of each setting with another model. The manual also describes an indicator lamp that brightens as resistance increases. That is a visual pressure cue, not a calibrated force reading, a validated safe-pressure limit or a measurement of treatment intensity.
A separate ten-minute continuous-use stop is listed as an equipment safeguard. It should not be interpreted as a recommended treatment duration for any body area. The user manual includes restrictions and cautions—including avoiding the head, hard or bony areas, injured or sensitive tissue, and seeking clinician advice for listed health conditions. Read the full instructions before using an existing unit; this reference is not medical guidance.
Six documented head types, but not a verified seller kit
The B37S manual names Fork, Flat, Round, Bullet, Round (Silicone) and Cone interchangeable heads. Its installation instructions describe rotating a head about a quarter-turn to lock it in place, and Ekrin's comparison row says the heads are locking. That makes the head connection a meaningful identity clue: the support index describes original B37 v1 heads as push-fit, while its B37 v2 guidance describes locking heads. The B37S has its own manual and should not be collapsed into either B37 generation just because one interface resembles it.
The manual and comparison page establish documented attachment types, not a current retail box. The comparison row also says a travel case is included, but no exact B37S offer, SKU or package is linked to that row. If evaluating a used unit, ask the seller to identify the model and show the included heads and case rather than assuming a historic kit matches the comparison chart. I do not treat the chart's attachment list as proof that every secondhand device still has all six pieces.
Check the B37S charger by its rating, not by a similar plug
Charging is a notable difference from the current B37 v2. Ekrin's B37S-specific charging instructions specify the original round-barrel adapter: 26 V DC, 900 mA, center-positive, with a 5.5 mm outer and 2.1 mm inner plug. The support page warns that a connector fitting is not enough to confirm compatibility. The manual likewise says to use the supplied adapter and not a non-26 V charger. By contrast, Ekrin's generation guide identifies USB-C charging for B37 v2. Do not infer the correct charger from a product name alone; check the unit's port and rating label against its own manual.
The manual lists a 2,550 mAh lithium-ion battery and approximately four hours of running time depending on speed and pressure. Ekrin's comparison row says “up to” eight hours. The pages do not specify comparable conditions that reconcile those figures, so this assessment does not use a runtime value as a filter. There is another internal mismatch: the manual's parameter table lists a four-hour charge, while its charging steps say to charge fully for six hours. Keep that uncertainty visible rather than selecting the more convenient number.
Published mass and sound figures have limits
The manual lists 1 kg and dimensions of 188 × 62 × 242 mm without labeling the dimension axes. Ekrin's comparison row gives 2.2 lb, approximately 998 g. These manufacturer figures are close after conversion, but neither source says whether an attachment is installed; neither is a complete-kit weight or a measurement made for this review. The comparison row also advertises 35–55 dB, with a rainfall analogy, but provides no measurement distance, load, room conditions or test method. It is evidence that the manufacturer published a number—not an independent noise test or a reliable promise of how quiet a particular unit will sound.
Best treated as an existing-device reference
The useful case for this page is identification: an owner can compare the B37S's manual, five-level controls, six named head styles and dedicated barrel charger with an existing device before selecting instructions or replacement parts. Its current offer, manufacturer SKU, exact finish and exact seller package remain unverified. An exact B37S-branded rendering is available on the official manual cover, but neither that image nor the 2026-10-31 comparison row establishes a current retail offer or package. I have not substituted a B37 or recolored another model. If you see a listing elsewhere, verify the model marking, charger rating, head connection, battery condition, included parts, seller return terms and any warranty coverage before deciding whether it is suitable. This reference page does not certify an outside listing or seller.
Assessment limit: the review is based on Ekrin's B37S manual, current model-specific support pages, the saved 2026-10-31 manufacturer comparison row and a 2026-11-01 recheck of the official store and comparison page. The exact-model art is from the official manual cover. No unit was owned, handled, weighed, timed, noise-tested or evaluated for a treatment outcome; later stock or seller terms may differ.
